Some homes just feel like vacation. This is one of them. Tucked into a sought-after Old Lyme beach neighborhood, this four-bedroom Colonial pairs a short walk to the sandy association beach with something even harder to find: protected open meadow directly behind you, and water views that go on for miles. The heart of the home is a 23-foot living room with a dramatic brick fireplace and easy flow to a sun-filled window room. The kitchen brings stone counters, stainless appliances and rich maple cabinetry, with the dining room and patio steps away. Four bedrooms upstairs include a primary that opens through sliders to a private balcony - your front-row seat to sunsets over the field and Sound. Outside, an expansive paver patio and fenced lawn invite long dinners and lazy afternoons, with a finished kennel for the dogs and plenty of parking for guests. Beach rights, minutes to I-95, Old Lyme village and top-rated Lyme-Old Lyme schools. Come see why this stretch of shoreline is so hard to leave.
