Charming one-bedroom loft in duplex on the west side of Olympia, ideal for single professional or couple. Quiet, private, and comfortable. Safe, welcoming neighborhood is wonderfully located: nine minutes to the capitol complex, four minutes to Capital Mall, seven minutes to Trader Joe's, and 12 minutes to The Evergreen State College. Walking distance to groceries and parks. We particularly recommend Vic's Pizza, Olympia Coffee Roasting, and Sixth Borough Bagels -- all walkable and delicious. Lofted architecture with high ceiling gives an open, spacious feel to the living room, accented by a shiplap wooden ceiling. Kitchen and living area are floored with LVP. Up the freshly carpeted stairs you'll find a spacious bedroom, walk-in closet, and full bath. Kitchen includes full-sized refrigerator, range, dishwasher, and a new disposal to make cooking a joy. Ductless mini-split flows AC in the summer and steady heat through the winter. Brand-new water heater lets you really enjoy the full bath upstairs. East-facing bedroom window views Mt. Rainier, while the south-facing picture window opens onto a grassy, gated courtyard shared by just four units. Natural light pours in through the day, while a Lutron lighting system brightens your evenings. Large coat closet under the stairs provides climate-controlled storage, and a secure storage unit off the carport protects your outdoor gear so you can enjoy Olympia's lush environment. Sliding door off kitchen leads open to private, fenced patio with gate, while the entry door opens onto a pleasant courtyard. From the front yard, enjoy million-dollar vistas of Mt. Rainier. One covered carport space is included in the rent, with ample street parking available. Please note that our listed rate includes $1,700 rent, plus a $150/month electrical utility charge that will not change throughout the term of your lease. ALL utilities are included. You can plan your living expenses exactly from month to month. For health and safety reasons, smoking and pets are not permitted. Serious applicants will complete a background check costing $40. Move-in date is flexible. We are not an industrial landlord. We take pride in the home you rent, personally respond to issues, and try to keep expenses livable. Our pride of ownership shows in the new solar array, designed to reduce costs for years to come!
