Introducing a lot of house for the money! Used as a law office for the past 30 years, this historical home in the heart of Madawaska is ready to be returned to a residence. It features a total of 5 bedrooms, a laundry room, and one and a half bathrooms with several porches. This home has some rare design notes not often seen in newer homes. Antique pocket doors, original tin ceilings and hardwood floors (seller can refinish for a fee if desired), glass door knobs and ornate trim help to bring the character of old back to life. The location is ideal; almost of all Madawaska is walkable making this a real pied-a-terre home. Unlike most intown properties, this one comes with three rear parking spots and a deep garage that fits a vehicle and more. High ceilings and a dry basement make it an excellent storage area. For those who require more room, the 3rd floor can be refinished for additional living space. Brick siding, a metal roof, and a quality build make this a long lasting house. With a bit of re-fitting, this property will be a great home again. Call today for more information or for a private showing.
