1BR at The Porter, Unit 324. ---- SCHEDULE A SHOWING ONLINE AT: http://showmojo.com/llz/4952fbb0b9 ---- The Porter is a boutique 158-unit building in Oak Park with contemporary architecture by Booth Hansen that fits in with the surrounding Pleasant Historic District, and the apartments themselves get the good stuff: high ceilings, plank flooring, and designer kitchens, plus a handful of duplex townhomes with their own private entries on Marion Street. The landscaped courtyard with grills and a firepit is a genuinely nice place to hang out. You're a four-minute walk from the Harlem/Lake stop, Wise Cup coffee is about nine minutes away, and Beer Shop is about six minutes off when you want a drink. Whole Foods is about seven minutes out, and Cummings Square is a short stroll for green space. Special: Select units priced up to 33% below the standard 12-month rate on certain lease terms.
